In a U shape journey, we start by describing what we think our challenge and success looks like. We then move down the left side of the U, to the world that is outside of our current awareness and eventually toward a more ‘knowing’ world that comes from introspection and feedback.
At the bottom of the U, lies a deep, reflective space where we represent our challenge as a living system. By visually representing the dynamic relationships between what’s happening inside and outside a person, Upside™ reveals the patterns shaping their behaviour. This clarity makes it possible to make conscious and rebalance the system, unlocking new possibilities for action and sustainable change.
Because once you can see it, you can shift it.
The action that emerges from this honest, deep, visual and tactile experience is much more likely to succeed than a linear, rational problem-solving framework or a talking based coaching conversation.
